This section is about gaming and anything I do or have that relates to gaming. I usually play and post stuff about Counterstrike: Source, Left 4 Dead, Warcraft III, Crysis... whatever catches my eye. Enjoy!

WOOT!

Finally got a TV!

So! In a fit of New Years boredom and absolute lack of financial sense, I decided we finally needed a goddamned TV. To that end, we headed to bestbuy at 7 pm. Closed - what the hell? What kinda store closes at 7 pm! Oh. New Years Eve. Right.

Our quest continued over to Wal-mart! I contended that Wallie world doesn't close that early - they've got slave labor after all. I was right! Didn't close til 8, and we had a tv to buy.... So we started looking at them. I was looking at the 32" LCD's, but really wanted a 1080p - after all, don't wanna be obsolete in the next few months, right? Further, the 32" were about 600... and there was a gorgeous 42" HDTV LCD 1080p from Vizio. We gazed in awe at the screen for only $797. It was... beautiful. We asked if there was one in stock. To our dismay, the employee said no! D:

Disheartened, but not crushed, we looked at other models, settling on yet another 42" model. Once again, not in stock. Then another. Not in stock. What the hell man, was he even looking? We told him we'd look around more, and sent him on his merry little way. We found another great deal and asked a new employee - not in stock! IT WAS A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU! I, slightly annoyed by this point, asked if they had ANYTHING in stock. She heads back, and comes back out to tell me they have a 42" LCD from Vizio. Me and Taren look at each other, telepathically transmitting "Oh no the fuck he didn't..." and immediately tell her we'll take it. Sure enough, it's the first model we were looking at. HUZZAH!

Our first quest objective complete, we hunted around looking at something to put on our wonderful TV. I didn't want to spend more than 1500 pre tax - I still had some financial sense after all! We settled on a PS3, two games (Dead Space, and Fallout 3) and a 200 watt speaker system with dvd player for a mere $100.

Total we only spent 1600 bucks - not bad for a high def 42" tv, PS3, two games, and sound system. This is the first nice thing I've bought myself, or even been able to afford (even if it went on my credit card) in a very long time. Merry Christmas to me!

*twotail wags and curls up with Deadspace*

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

*More to be posted later - this section will now include game reviews from PS3 games he purchases.*
